5 Minute Craft

There are probably several articles I could find and reference as to why not to pour oil or grease down the drain. First hand experience trumps any kind of research. A few months ago a pipe was backed up between my apartment and the apartment above me. I came home after a nice evening with co-workers to find that my sink filled up with water (due to the clog) and had overflowed on to my floor (almost to my bathroom). It filled up my utensil drawer with mucky water too.

Needless to say, I can still remember the awful smell and would like to forgo this experience. Tonight I fixed the first meal in awhile where I had leftover grease in the pan. Taking a pause for the cause I took an old sauce jar and decided it needed a little pizazz. I created a label with stencils and a marker, to emphasis the black letters I attached it with black electrical tape. Now my drain is grease free!

Lots of Love!

Roggie: whenever I get an email about a new blog post, it makes me smile. Your stories, spunk, and creativity really make me feel better after a rough day (like today). I miss you terribly and wish we could be creating and crafting together.
