It takes a village. To craft!

When I was younger sometimes I didn't know what I wanted to be passionate about but I knew I wanted to be passionate. I still feel that way today but I know like I know like I know that I am crazy, passionate and endlessly enthusiastic about making things. I enjoy making all sorts of things but crafts will always be first.

I like that when most people think of me they think: Maker, Crafter, Handy, Creative, Sorta okay Sewer, ect. ect. Its those thoughts that have lead to some really great craft finds. The first picture up in the left is recently acquired items that people feel I should use or items I asked for as they were throwing them out. There is an old bike tire and tubes from Mike R., a big green net that covered flowers from Susan M. and awesome red egg crate foam and a black cookie tin from Leah V.

From my trip to Colorado last April I was blessed with so many hand me downs that I can't even begin to photograph them all. The quilt piece to the right is my favorite item I took home with me. It is a flour sack quilt my Uncle Gary found at a garage sale and gave to my Aunt Paula. She has cut pieces off, patched up some seams and rebinded them into mini quilts. The colors of this quilt piece make me so happy, its almost as good as my happy drugs.

I have been formulating ideas for the treasures that I have been given but I thought "What the hey, I'll ask others what they think I should do!" So bring on the ideas! Or you can send your junk my way and I'll flip it into treasure.

Lots of Love to all those who love and all those who love craft!
